North Gwinnett High School Counseling Department will host its Fall Parent Night on Tuesday, September 19th. College Fair will be held from 5:30 to 7:00 pm. Sessions will be held from 7:00 to 7:40 pm and 7:45 to 8:30 pm in the designated locations.

College Fair(New Gym) 

This is an opportunity for students and parents to meet with college representatives from approximately 40 colleges and universities to learn more about admission requirements, application process, scholarships, and other information for their schools.

Freshman Parent Meeting (Commons)

- one session from 7:00 to 8:30 pm 

Our 9th Grade Counselor will present an overview of high school and beyond (including academic support, graduation requirements, college planning, HOPE scholarship), and our School Psychologist will discuss helpful tips for parenting teenagers.

Financial Aid (Multi-Purpose Room 500) 

A representative from the Georgia Student Finance Commission will be here to discuss college funding options. The information will include the HOPE Scholarship, Zell Miller Scholars Program, HOPE Grant and other options through GAFutures.org and the Commission.

College Application Process (Collaborative Learning Center) 
How am I going to prepare, organize, and manage the college application process? Remember– preparation reduces stress!!! Topics that will be covered include senior profile, transcript requests, SAT & ACT scores, college search, scholarships, and more.
